Marena Skinner is a self-taught artist hailing from Vancouver, BC Canada.
She illustrates, paints, screen prints, tattoos and is all about DIY and hand made, not digital work. All shirts are printed by herself in her home. Her art is a mixture of pop art and lowbrow that involves demons, monsters and other characters. Subjects of her art include housing rights, the cost of living crisis, sexual harassment, mental health and other relatable topics. Marena started hand painting shirts in 2010 and started screen printing her own designs and selling at markets in 2011 at the age of 18.
